AUDIENCE FOR SCHOOL MAGAZINE.

The Audience for my school Magazine are teenagers from a upper key stage rather than a lower one as i feel as though i can relate to school children that are in their final year of compulsory education, as so much significant things are occurring in their lifetime such as prom, transferring to higher education, being enable to work, becoming legal for driving lessons eat, so that why i have directed my target audience to upper teens, its unisex my magazine relates to all genders.

CONTENT ON SCHOOL MAGAZINE

The ideology of a school magazine is to provide suitable information and context that will be relatable to children in education, so the magazine will be useful and have a purpose in their life, in order to do this. I must ensure the context is suitable and fitting to a student everyday educational needs and relates to them, my School magazine is suited for children in the higher end of the key stage

The content, I will be including in my magazine are:
  • Prom advice/ prom information and boo kings: Prom is a significant period for youths as its a sentimental memory in their childhood, and making decisions is such a hard stressful thing especially while your doing exams, plus deciding on the perfect dress, the transport ect is such an overwhelming feeling plus some may need help even finding contacts and links to allocate these things, so by giving prom advice and information it heavily benefits the students.
  • Head-boy/Head-girl/Prefect duties advice.
  • College/6th form information and guidance on choosing the right course or qualifications to take on.
  • Exam Advice GCSE is a very important significant qualification that deems your intelligence, its important as you will need it for jobs and qualifications so this will make teens become stressed and we offer advice and revision techniques to help these teens achieve the best possible grades.
  • Jobs/volunteering: These teens have reached old enough to work so we also offer advice on getting their first official jobs, how minimum wage works ect.
